Individual Talk Therapy
In-person or virtual sessions are designed for women (18-64) to process and explore thoughts, emotions, patterns, and life circumstances. Areas treated include life transitions, stress and burnout, parenting, anxiety, depression, grief, and more. Modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused, Person-Centered, and more.

Biblical Counseling
In-person or virtual sessions offer biblically-based, person-centered counseling for women ages 18-64. Christian counseling is rooted in Scripture and the truth of God’s Word. Biblical passages and prayer are incorporated based on each client’s comfort level.

Messick Counseling does not accept insurance. A receipt of services can be provided to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. You will be provided a Good Faith Estimate prior to your appointment. Please see below for more information on Good Faith Estimates.
Some clients choose to use Reimbursify to file their out-of-network claims for a small fee.
Cash, check, and debit/credit card payments through the client portal (Simple Practice) or Ivy Pay are accepted. A fee of $75 will be charged for appointments not canceled within 48 hours.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
• You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
• Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
• If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
